I picked up for my mom and an indian guy answered. He said he needed my mom, so I asked what for. He said "important business" at which point I told her his name and she said just hangup because she doesn't know him. So I said "no thank you" and hung up, he called back in a minute or two to ask if I thought I was funny lol. He called under "unknown" that time.
I wouldn't mind them calling me because he seemed like a fun conversation, but my mom would rather not deal so I told her about recording conversations where you ask to be put on the "do not call" list, reverse lookups (like this), and how you can't trust any number that isn't willing to leave a message.
If they don't state who they're with or their name at the very start of the conversation (assuming you don't recognize the number), the company/person isn't calling about anything important enough to waste your time.
i get a call from this number once almost every day.
i have never answered the phone.
but they've been calling me for the past 4 weeks.
and they still call almost every day.
i dont know if i should answer the phone and find out who it is.
