male with a strong indian (india) accent said to call this number so matter would not be reported to the IRS. and hung up. Tried calling this number back and machine answered saying mailbox was full so I was unable to leave a message requesting that they do not call me again.
Received same IRS call scam from 703 662 8332...said his name was Eric Miller. Accusing of tax fraud ... That I would be arrested for tax evasion. Wish he could be caught and prosecuted. He told me the police would arrive within 45 minutes to arrest me.
Just got the same call from the same number (703-662-8332) telling me it was the IRS and I was going to be arrested. Do people really fall for this [***]?
Me too!! We got a call at 8:03 this AM...actually left a voice mail. I could hardly understand him with his thick accent, but with scratchy background noise, all I could pick up was "small claims court" or "you will be arrested" if you don't call back. How dumb do these crooks think we are?
Message left at 11:09 a.m. Thick accent calling from "IRS" said I would be arrested.
Obviously a SCAM. IRS contacts you by letter. Similar call from 830 865-3891
"Jason O'Connor" of the IRS, very heavy east Indian accent, I knew it was a scam right away. I asked him if he wanted to go to jail, to which he replied, "Yes, please put me in your jail." I told him he was committing a Federal offense at which point he said "Your [***] police can't catch me." I said "Bye" and hung up.
