Initial robocall saying it was a "final notice" about your credit card.  Press 1 to talk to representative.  I pressed 1, and I asked in a fake old lady voice asked what company it was.  The woman said she was with "the Qualifications Department of Visa and MasterCard."

I then asked her is this was about my current card to which she said "Yes, you qualify for a rate reduction as you've made six consecutive on-line payments..."   This is blatant FRAUD in addition to the violation of the DNC list.

Reported, as all of you should, at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

Called at 2 PM, no message, but I see from reading above it's the infamous Rachel from Cardholder's services, again.

I get so many of these calls I can't block them all, but I did figure out a way not to be bothered as much.  I put all family, friends, doctor's office, etc. phone numbers in the electronic phone book in my Uniden phone, and assigned them a different ring tone than the default tone.  That way, when the phone rings with the default ring tone, I just don't bother with it.  I check the list once per day just to make sure I didn't miss any important calls.  New callers that I want to speak to can be easily added to the phone book.

Maybe this will help others.

As with all of you, I'm constantly receiving annoying phone calls!   However, I've been busy solving the problem to a noteworthy extent!

I have kept a list of each call I've received kinda in a spreadsheet form.  I created columns across the sheet (landscape) for--the Day of the Week, the Date, the Time of the Call, the Number shown on my ID, any Info given (such as Unavailable, Not Provided, Wireless Caller, Name of Company/Person...etc, if given), and the last column is for notes from searching the Internet, usually Google.

I then print out the list and mail it to the State Attorney General's office (I'm in NC).  Believe me, it HAS GOTTEN RESULTS!!
Not only have I cut these annoying calls down quite a lot, but the Attorney General's (AG) office actually contacts those it has the means to do so (which is FAR more than any of us!).

As a result I have received numerous letters from the places the AG's office notified, of which everyone goes thru the AG's office before you receive a copy!  In one instance, it was a collection agency, which after having been contacted by the AG, sent a letter to me thru the AG's office, that they had cancelled my information and had returned the claim request back to the creditor!  I was very impressed by that!

So, don't just complain and talk about it, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! Contact your state's Attorney General Office about the DNC list and let them take care of it!  It works!  Please keep in mind that it's not perfect, but it has made a notable difference!  They send a letter for each phone numbe you have put on the list, and will even will tell you the ones that they couldn't contact because the call was a scam from outside the U.S.

I know this is kinda long, but it has worked for me and I wanted to share it.  I recommend that each of you DO IT!!  Good luck!
