We did not get a call but purchased e-tickets for a tour company in Savannah. I noticed a 4.55 charge on my debit card at the same time I ordered these e-tickets. Anyone else notice this if they bought tickets through this tour company?
both my wife's atm card and mine have now been frauded. mine was with this joker and hers was with cheapest themes.com. it also has a site like this where hundreds have been ripped off. the weird thing is that we rarely ever use her card if ever on the net so has my bank been compromised? we got new atm cards ordered and were only hit for 4.81 and 1.55. but check out the other company. it seems that they might be related.
Did not receive a call from them but noticed a $7.55 charge on my bank card the same day I used my card at The UPS Store in person. I addressed this additional charge with my bank and they gave me the phone number of the retailer how charged the amount and it was Global E-business. The number does not allow you to speak with anyone, but does have a message saying you can contact them through an email address. I also do not use my card very often so I believe the UPS Stores system has been compromised. Researching their website also provides you with no information. I have since cancelled my account and filed a dispute with my bank.
I was charged $4.55 on my debit card and, luckily, caught it right away and cancelled the card. I can't figure out how they obtained the number, but am glad that my bank was able to mark the transaction as fraudulent and get my card cancelled quickly!
keep an aye on your bank account even though you cancelled your card. i got the same charge on saturday from sandra plath llc in illinois. i cancelled both cards and filed a dispute. checked account this morning and the same charge was back only this time from global-e business in illinos. bank says it went through because the authorization code was validated BEFORE i cancelled the cards. chances are they are going to get into my account again therefore i was forced to close it.
