I filed a online complaint with the BBB about the company,Lifeline Industries, they have several complaints already but are in good standing so far. The BBB told me thay would get back to me as soon as they could check it all out and talk to them.So I have failed a complaint with the FCC and the BBB so for no calls in two days.Dont know if that did the trick are me just not answering the phone.
the calls started when we changed our phone service provider 3 weeks ago and they do not stop!!! At least 10 times EVERYDAY!! They call at late hours and we go go bed at 8pm!!! These calls have woken us up many times and I want to know what can be done to stop it? I am so angry. They call 7 days a week, and like most others, it is no one on the other end, then a loud disconnect noise. I thought I could piss them off by just putting down the phone, but no, they still call. Also, like most, when I call the number back, I get a recording saying the number is disconnected!!!
I just changed the phone over to Comcast and these calls started coming in. The number is brand new and all the calls we've gotten have been telemarketers and junk call scammers. I asked one scammer who had an Indian voice where she got my number and she told me that they got it from the research department. Does Comcast sell a list of their numbers to these scammers? I'll answer the phone now and after a brief silence the phone hangs up. The other number they call from is 712-429-0258. Where do we get help to stop this nuisance? Sometimes I'll send junk mail back to its originator back in their envelope, how can I get back at these people?
