I just call a call on my cell (which is on the do not call list) from this number. My caller ID says it is from Texas. I don't answer numbers that I don't know so I don't know what kind of a scam that it is. They didn't leave a message. I hope that there is a special kind of H**L for these people.
Got this call today.
If you have an Android phone just hold the number within the recent calls list and select "Add to reject list". I just did it, hopefully this will stop it. I didn't bother to pick up the call for fear of the phone scams lately.
Got a call from this number 713-000-0000. Automated notice about 2nd chance to lower credit card interest rates. Said press 1 to talk to someone...I did and they said they were from "visa mastercard solutions" and when I said I didn't know how they got my number, they hung up on me.
