Mike, the caller is a fake debt collector calling from overseas, usually coming from India or Pakistan. These calls have been a problem for several years. The FBI and law enforcement are fully aware of them and where they are but they are untouchable by US Law Enforcement.. There are diplomatic protocol issues in trying to shut down and bring to justice foreign criminals who are safely cuddled in the arms of an uncooperative government that considers them petty thieves and Americans free game for them.

Of course!. It has been reported hundreds of times, even daily, over the past couple of years. But the plain facts are that people will just have to be more proactive in protecting themselves. At this time, the US law enforcement is stalemated by other governments.
I just received the same phone call. A lady with an Asian accent picked up the phone and then stated exactly what all previously mentioned. She then made me listen to hear for a couple minutes straight to explain to me what they claim I owe, see you in court, etc. When I let her finish and stated that I have not hear of the stated company, she hung up quickly. I called again several times only to get a voicemail message. I agree with you all, and will just block their number for good.
I'm starting to believe in getting a Google Voice Number to give to all and just leave the direct phone number to family and friends. What's this world coming to.
I just received the same recording. I would like to know how these people choose your number to call and how you fight back so that they can't keep harassing you! It's extremely annoying and upsetting.
same exact happened to me. They wanted me to immediately send them a monogram to a person named Mallory Gilmour in Clearwater FL. When I questioned where these so called charges are from she could only be generic as in electic bills, water bills dr. bills could be a possibility. She could not provide a direct answer. She said she would have to stay on the phone with me while I drove to a location to do a moneygram
The same thing happened to me just a few minutes ago.i ve had a few of these calls & about a month back it was on tge news about these kind of calls.They say dont call them back cause they are scamming you big time.you call them back & they start charging ur phone for money...I dont know how but tgeir doing it.So Everyone Plz be careful & dont be calling these people.....God Bless.
