This is real simple.  Just tape record the calls.  Let them rant and rave, use profanity, call you names, etc.  Don't retaliate as you are 'playing' to the tape.  After they have called four our five times, google a local fair debt collection lawyer, send him the tapes.  You will get $ 1,000.00 in damages for each call and your lawyer, your new best friend, will get a boatload of attorneys fee.

Recording the calls is actually a way to make good money.

This low life broad is arguentative from the get go.  Have to hang up on her because she won't quit.

Nancy, I too am receiving calls from this company and am doing the best I can with all of them.  How do you know if something is a zombie debt and/or past the statue of limitations?

No message, just callerID;  theyve sent letters recently under another name

they call every week, 2-3 times, for former roommate's sister.  If they actually had something, they'd take her to court.
