This number s a scam. Always an Asian voice. I cussed them and etc. they call 5 times daily. Please report these call to the FCC, so they can be stopped.
Same issue here. Got a call from this guy (with east asian accent) saying he's from microsoft and mentioned my company is on high alert or something. I was at work so asked him to call me later.
Now I know, it's a scam so won't be taking the call.
Just got a call from this number 718-588-6595 and caller ID said: TOLENTINO, GLADY
He had a deep accent and said there was an error in my Windows computer. I asked him (in so many words) what the hell was he talking about? Asked him for his name and phone number and I will call back. He kept dodging the question and saying, "You don't understand how important this is..." Then I told him to, "Go to hell!" and I hung up and blocked the number.
Good lord they are merciless. I am up to three already today at 1:15 pm. I have been getting two to three a day for about two weeks. I was having fun with them, but I finally just blocked it. The angle was I was sending bad info to microsoft servers. I asked to verify the IP, which of course he couldn't, told me he had a unique identifier, which is of course he didn't have off hand, but he could CERTAINLY get it for me. I asked what a good call back number was, which I was RUDELY informed this is an outbound call center only. So I asked how I could verify if he was in fact FROM MSFT, I was told he was and I was stupid for asking him that. Thats when I got annoyed, told him I used a Mac, I have already told them off several times and they should tag my number as being abusive to their reps since they are MSFT, they MUST be using a CRM system! He stated yelling they were not a scam but by then I was bored so I hung up.
Call blocker might be of some help. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd. Or where there is no caller ID. There’s no way to stop the calls from being initiated. Calls originate in India and Pakistan. They spoof local numbers.
