Person with thick accent claims to be from the U.S. Treasury and asks about an issue with taxes (for me, it was 2010 tax year). She gave a name and badge number. When I stated I had not been contacted about this matter, she asked why I was lying to an officer of the government. She then stated the records show I was contacted by mail twice about the issue. When I asked about the address to which the notices were sent, she hung up.

I knew this was a scam , kept calling them back and asking them stupid questions , like if they like ice cream? How many camels do you own? Then had some friends do the same thing over and over. bunch of idiots

I got this call today in homeroom (freshman in high school), and wanted to have some fun with this piece of crap scammer. Well turns out as of April 11th, I got this recorded (non indian) voice saying that "This number has been disconnected due to fraudulent activity."
Well good for the elderly not losing money, but bad for the loser who wants to have fun.
