It's Best Buy. They called me because my credit card number changed, and I have the "Black Tie" insurance on my cell phone that used the old card number. They did leave me a message once, but the last time, they left no message.
Got this call a second ago and found these posts. Yes it is Best Buy. At first I didn't remember (i don't answer unknown #s either) but after reading this yes it is Best Buy, concerning my payment for my Black Tie Protection for my cell phone. Its not necessarily about credit with them, it can be in regards to any insurance coverage you are paying for from them for any product. If your method of monthly payment is declined, an automated system calls you from this number to make arrangements for payment.
I have received many calls from this number. So I called Best Buy's home office and let them have it about calling my number so often, even though I have NEVER bought anything from them, and that I have asked their collection they use to remove my number. They claim they will be certain my number is removed from the collection company's contacts. Taking any bets ?
This is Best Buy re: any warranty's you have with them. They have been calling me too as the credit card that was charged monthly for our cell phone warranties expired. They are wanting information from you so they can update. No biggie.
