As everyone here mentions, the same happened to me. I received a call from a woman asking for my husband. I asked to take a message and she said she was actually calling for either of us and went on to say she is helping raise funds for women with breast cancer and would I agree to send money if she sent me a card in the mail. I said no, and that we already give to Ewings Sarcoma and thanked her for her efforts though. She turned extremely RUDE and said that I should not stop there and should give money and would not let me talk... Went on like a psychotic lunatic and acted suddenly like I was saying something nice to her and told me "good. Thank you. Thank you. That's great". Then she hung up. I called the number back and it was clearly this same woman in the voice recording who I just spoke to. I left a message saying how that call upset me, but know it is only her that will hear it. She needs to be reported somehow so she stops making calls.
The Breast Cancer Society has called me 2 times a month for about a year even when I told them to F Off and never call back. This time I played along, wanted info so go ahead send me Donation letter, But wanted Credit Card of course, and when I asked where calling from? back east they said, Maybe Atlanta or DC boiler room. But with a Colo area code. So maybe its time for people to send some uncooked chicken BREAST skins back to them. Along with an IOU a Punch in the face for calling me ALL the Time for MONEY!
They are back at it again.. Got another call from this number and they seem to not want to quit. So much for solicitors block on our phone.. Didn't leave a message also today is SUNDAY they have alot of nerve..
