I have gotten a slew of these calls from PHONY and STUPID telemarketers. I thought they couldn't call anymore. So much for the donotcall list. If it isn't asking for donations, it is surveys...I wish they would STOP calling my unlisted phone number. I don't get WHY we as consumers can't BLOCK these vultures. Every time a number is revealed as a scammer-not someone we wish to speak to-we should be able to BLOCK their number period. That would STOP the nonsense. They can robo call us, we should have RECOURSE from our service providers that WORKS! And I HATE the political calls, do I care, our country has gone further and further downhill, and NO politician is worth voting in, They all are on the take and don't do ANYTHING for We the People. If it were up to me, I would CLEAR out capital hill and make government jobs volunteer, then we wouldn't have to pay for their ineptness, because NOT one politician is FOR you and me, it is all about THEM!!! Why should I have to hear their mud slinging on my phone. They ALL are complete and utter LIARS!

DNC isn't a automatic call blocker. It isn't going to stop the illegal callers from calling you, no law can. Charities and some survey's are exempt along with political calls. However, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a DNC internal list. Please refer to the information here on TCPA and DNC:

Think about getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00. Why pay the phone company's more for limited blocking.
Numerous calls from this number, also registered on Caller ID as Breast Cancer S. Woman asks for my husband; when I ask who she is she starts in that "actually we were calling for either one of you....." I believe it's a recorded message -- the new way pests, scammers, and other idiot nuisances get around the Do Not Call Registry. I will NOT answer the phone again when that number appears!!!
