Calls at all hours of the day, hangs up when I answer. Assumes I am from the old country, but I don't have a Hindi accent as I grew up in the US. A few times when I put on a fake Hindi accent, said he was from Microsoft, and that there were error messages on my computer. Hung up when I asked him for a street address.
This guy who identified himself as a technician called us and said we were having issues with our network. My wife spoke with him for a moment, but declined his help. She hung up and he called us back. I spoke with him and let him do his pitch for "free" help with our "network issue." He repeatedly through both call said he was certified by the government to provide this service. I told him no thanks and hung up. He called again and I didn't even let him speak. I asked him if he knew what the Federal Trade Commission does. He could not answer the question. I told him I would report him to it if he called back again. He said the government would not do anything to him.
I have been getting these calls about every day. I finally called my general attorney office and gave them the numbers and the time they called . they said if they get enough complaints. they will see if they can track them down but will not be easy so every one call your general attorney office and make a complaint. . I am so sick of getting these calls I just hang up on them not sure how they get your name but some how they know your name. that is scary to.
