I just got this call. I tried twice last week to send money and it wouldbt go thru. So went to money gram instead. Why would they call me when it never went thru.
Got a call from this number after making an online wire transfer through Western Union. When I say "hello" no one answered, but I could hear noise on other end. I know they must have gotten my phone number off the WU site. My daughter did receive the money I wired. I will talk to my bank in the morning. Ugh.
phone started to ring at midnight and stopped before i could get to it and when I check it on Google i came up with these postings it proves to me that Western Union has a big problem. I had a delivery go missing and my people when they went to pick it up were told that it had already been picked up so now i know how they got the MTCN number. All this has done is prove that he problem with Western Union is inside the company or that they have been hacked by some network of scammers
I have not used WU & do not have the kind of card they said was used to do a transfer, so there was no reason WU would have contacted me. It seems a scam.
This is a number that shows up sometimes on caller ID with name of Western Union, the company I work for was ripped off over 10 thousand by these people. This is is a scam, do not answer!
