They do not need to call my home after 9:00 at night. I find it hard to be nice to the "student" who: wakes my children three nights in a row with a post 9:30 pm phone call and who tells me that because they are a non-profit they can call my home at whatever time they choose.
Furthermore, I gave my annual donation already and don't appreciate repeated phone calls asking for more money.
A family member went to that school. But has no desire to support them. At least the their name comes up on caller ID - I didn't allow them to leave a message - I just turned my machine off. Then back on again once they hung up.
Charity most always never give up. Even when you ask nicely.
They also keep sending snail mail requesting donations that just get pitched. They have a special campaign this year where they are trying to get all alumni to participate in. I don't think they are going to succeed.
I got a call from this # but they hung up when I answered.
When I get a call like this, I tell them that the person they are looking for had to go into witness protection and so I have no idea where they are, so they better remove me from their list because my phone number is monitored and recorded by the authorities.
Maybe then they will remove you and stop calling....until the next time.
I am a Rutgers graduate, and am SICK AND TIRED of these phone calls. I have donated in the past, and will no longer do so. They are harassing me at this point. They call at 9:30 PM on weeknights, waking up my kids and disrupting the rest of the family. I have emailed and asked them to please remove me from their lists, and would love to know who to complain to at this point.
