They do not need to call my home after 9:00 at night. I find it hard to be nice to the "student" who: wakes my children three nights in a row with a post 9:30 pm phone call and who tells me that because they are a non-profit they can call my home at whatever time they choose.
Furthermore, I gave my annual donation already and don't appreciate repeated phone calls asking for more money.
the students actually make minimum wage and they don't get to choose the jobs they're given for work study if they apply late so have some respect because they probably want to make that call less than you want to pick it up...
Telemarketers from Rutgers University. They never leave a message but I know they want donations. I have asked them to stop calling but they continue to do so.
I have received calls from 732-839-2008 every night the past week between 7-8pm and each time I pick up the phone, the caller disconnects. This is fund-raising??? Just shot off an e-mail to them telling me to take my number off the list. With this type of "fund-raising" tactic, they'll never see another penny from me (and I have given in past years)
And by the way, the college gave me nothing. I paid tuition and earned a degree. They just happened to be the place where it happened.
