They do not need to call my home after 9:00 at night. I find it hard to be nice to the "student" who: wakes my children three nights in a row with a post 9:30 pm phone call and who tells me that because they are a non-profit they can call my home at whatever time they choose.
Furthermore, I gave my annual donation already and don't appreciate repeated phone calls asking for more money.
They continuously call me, almost always at 9:27 at night. I refuse to now answer after I once answered 2 years ago on the same day that I had a death in my immediate family. I politely explained my situation to the student and that I really was not interested in hearing what they had to say that day. The student expressed their sympathy, but then proceeded to push for me to pledge a donation to the school, which I found astounding.
Well, as a current student I can assure you that you're wrong. I've had plenty of friends work there. They're students, and they hate working there as much as you hate getting the phone calls.
