This is clearly a scam. Caller said her name was Annie Johnson. Her accent was incredibly thick, and she spoke in seriously broken English. Dept of Legal Affairs my a$$...
Got a voicemail message from "Adrian Poulson" (very heavy Indian accent) with the "Department of Legal Affairs" threatening impending doom. Must be the same idiots that previously used 323-238-3868 for the same scam. At least he wished me a "blessed day" at the end..
We got the same call from 760-335-6113 . After I told him that he was full of s*** and I told him that we would call the police he hung up. I hope no one falls for this scam!
Got the same call both 760 number and 323 number. when i asked them to tell me who filed my taxes (accountant name) they didn't have the info. Next call is going to be the FBI!!!!
Same scam for me, "department of legal affairs, U.S. Treasury". Different name than others here report but still a very middle-america sounding name claimed for a caller that has a heavy Indian accent. Left his phone number. Am looking in to how to prank this person.
Got a call from this number from a guy with a heavy Indian Accent. Asked for me and I pretended I was someone else. Told me to call back this number at ext. 159 and speak to John Wilson regarding legal issue with the Department of Treasury regarding an IRS hold on my taxes. I know its a scam.
