Although they did not leave a message, this is probably United Health Care wanting to send a nurse to your home to evaluate your health. A friend of mine did agree to this and he felt the nurse actually did give him some useful information. However, after some research, I found out the reason for this is not "out of the kindness of UNHC's heart". If you have health issues, they can charge Medicare (the Fed Go) more. I have a checkup twice a year and know the status of my health but UNHC does not get these reports. Personally, I do NOT trust insurance companies and will not permit a person to enter my home to gather health info. If they need this info, they should send documentation to me by mail and I will fill it in and take it to my physician. I not longer give out info on the phone, either. Finally, if this is a legitimate call, they need to leave a message describing what they are wanting. Otherwise, I will block the call.

they left a message, on my call, said they would like to have a callback, to the number on the back of your card, said they are verifying that you are taking advantage of the great benefits they offer
Call came in on our landline at 4:03 P CDT, Caller ID showed "Unitedhlth Care". Since this was a new number from them I purposely didn't answer and they left a voice mail something about "Getting the most out of your Health Care.....". I am a Retiree with medical benefits through United Health Care, but I don't need them calling me repeatedly, multiple times per month, about their House Calls program or other medical benefits which I currently don't need or want. Their House Calls programs wants someone to come to your home and do a "Health Check", which includes checking your prescriptions. Since I currently have no health issues of any kind and take no prescriptions of any kind what they want to do is useless for me. They have been calling multiple times per month from 6 different area codes: 218, 443, 513,612, 763, and today's call from 793, since November 2014 to our landline and my mobile. I have blocked every new number, but they keep adding additional numbers to their robodialer system. It has become a GAME, They Call, I Block. They just don't get it that I am NEVER going to answer their calls, but their robodialer system isn't smart enough to figure that out yet.
UHC pays another company to send a nurse to 'evaluate you" as a "benefit". Maybe good if you are in the boonies with no healthcare available but most of us have doctors and don't need their intrusion. Let's tell UHC to fire these people, drop this "service" save their money, so they quit whining about their costs and lower ours!!
