I received a call on 09/10/08 from (763)0367-9402, it was a female. She said she was asked to call me by my health insurance co. She then asked me to verify my identity, she asked my to tell her my DOB, address, SS# etc...
I refused to tell her, I said they should be able to tell me those items for me to verify. I asked what company she was representing, she said if I did not tell them their needed personal info she was not able to tell me what company she was calling from. I then told her our conversation was done and I was going to report her to the Police Dept. Immediately after hanging up, I reported the odd phone call and told them the phone # that showed on my phone. They them said a detective would be contacting me.
I have received two calls in the past two weeks from them on my cell. I answered the first one and told them that the person they were asking for is not at this number and please do not call again. A week later, the same call from the same woman who left a VM.
i got a call from these people as well, my first response was to google the number and I found this site. When I later on called my mental health provider I realized that the woman who had called me previoulsy was the co-worker of the woman I just spoke with. They cleared me for a year of theraphy and will keep on checking that I'm doing ok. They have to ask for date of birth to confirm they are talking to the right person. They have been nothing but nice to me and helped me in crisis. They have set up appointments with psychiatrists and pshychologists when I have been so down that I haven't had the energy to deal with it myself.
