received a call at work from a "Melissa" stating she needed a recommendation for my home address, then left her call back number 770-234-0101 ext.3041 and then proceeded to state it had to deal with a complaint and for me to call her. I looked up the number and found this site. I would suggest not calling her back.
I received a call saying that there was a complaint against me AT MY RESIDENCE and then the lady (who did not leave her name) recited my address and said I needed to call for her recommendation to resolve the situation. She used my former name, I am recently married and couldn't pronounce it to save her life! Glad for this site so I know not to call back... :) Oh, and I am buying my house from my brother-in-law soo, I'm sure if there was a problem he would be the one calling me or an official with an area code IN MY AREA! ha ha ha dumb a**es
These idiots called me and tried to get info for my brother. They were looking for him. I called and I did get through right away. I got the run around for a while letting them think I was he. Once I said I wasn't my brother they stopped talking. They were rude and a lady named Mrs. Washington was rude, cussed me out then hung up. I then called right back and asked to speak to a supervisor. She was nice and cordial, and stated my number will be removed. I don't know if this makes a difference but my brother filed BK last year, and still has medical collections showing on his bureau. So the may target people that have these. unfortunately the bureau companies, EXPERIAN, TRANSUNION, AND EQUIFAX sell this information in a bulk to these type of companies to make a profit. I know this because I was in the car business for years, and we would buy the info for mailers to mail out. That is why you get junk mail from local businesses.
i got a call last night and they left a message that this was a very serious urgent matter and to contact them asap, the guys name was cory, from something recovery group, and it was about an internal claim. I did not call back, and I will not call back, especially after reading this.
This is a collection agency called NRC or Nations Recovery Center. They are based out of Norcross, GA. They are probably calling in regards to a debt owed. The main phone number is 800-935-1139. It may show up on your caller ID as 770-234-0101. It can also show up a Unknown. Just call they from a pay phone and see what's up or if they call pick up the phone and say noone by that name lives there.
I dealt with them before and one woman threatened me there. Another time I finally paid them off and they said it wasn't enough. They wanted more and more and more. Be careful!!!! Document every call. I suggest get a pocket recorder and record all conversations. Make sure you get everything in writing whether it be Paid in Full or Settlement in Full prior to sending any money. If you pay them send money order.
