Just received another call from M. Liebrandt @ 6:44 pm. I have had several calls from this "person". Typically I don't answer and they don't leave a message. I have gotten so that I never answer my phone anymore. However, this time I got mad and decided to pick it up. I instantly got a dial tone. I'm not happy about that because now I wonder if they were calling to confirm that it was was a working number and now they know that. I will block it and hope that I don't get some massive phone bill. I am in Florida, West Central area.
I get these calls after my son is asleep and it wakes him up. my caller ID say NOT IN USE for this number. I say hello and nothing so I hang up. They have called me several times the past few nights.
Call came from 786-358-9613. Called a couple of times in last few days but I didn't know the name on the caller ID nor the number so I didn't answer the phone and they did not leave a message. But today a female caller left a message stating that this is the IRS calling and this is the last chance to call them before the IRS files a lawsuit against me. I knew that had to be a bogus call - I'm an 81 year old woman who lives on social security and a small pension, but it still scared the bejeebers out of me! When I tried to call the number on my caller ID, I was told the call "cannot be completed as dialed" and to check the number and dial again. In the message they left a phone number to call them "immediately" but by the time I got the message, it was late evening and a voice message (with a clipped accent) said the party I am trying to reach is not available right now.
