These people call all hours of the day. Morning afternoon evening doesn't matter but on my caller id it says NOT IN USE what does that even mean.. on the do not call list doesn't matter.....
What it means is that the number/name on your caller ID has been faked, spoofed, it's not real. Scam artists do this all the time, sometimes "borrowing" legitimate, active phone numbers to display; other times using numbers that are out of service or unassigned.
Being on the DNC list matters a lot. If you understood how it works you'd realize that.
If you're on the DNC list, legitimate telemarketers are not calling you. That leaves scammers, probably from India or Pakistan or any other place. You can practically be assured that any unknown number calling you should be ignored and in the case where they call repeatedly, blocked.
Good advice! From the sounds of it, this number is being used for more than one thing. The IRS will never call you-do NOT fall for that one! I have seen an ad from an atty that says you may be eligible for up to $1500 per phone call from callers...not sure of the details. (Morgan & Morgan) It could be for calls from bill collectors. Tired of getting these **** calls!
