I received a call on 9/6/13 at 9:42am, CDT, from someone with an Indian accent identifying them self as "Microsoft Technical Support," stating that they "had received several error reports from my computer on their monitoring software indicating that my computer was about to crash, and he wanted me to go to my computer so that he could guide me through a "fix."
I asked for his number, so that I could call back to verify the source of the call. He repeated the urgency of the matter, but refused to give me his number. I asked for it again, and he hung up.
I checked my caller ID and found the number was 786-375-9110. I called this number and the same person with an Indian accent answered, as being "Microsoft Technical Support."
I entered the number into a Google Search and found numerous sites and links of complaints and reports of phone abuse, including threats.
As of last night when THEY thought they were getting money at a certain time I got like 6 calls - looking for the GREEN DOT MONEY ... This morning still calling my job looking for the money ... What JERKS time to call back and tell them off
Received messages today saying I owed on a payday loan I never took out. Claimed they were from Anderson law firm and they were coming to my job to place me in hand cuffs and drag me to jail. I am aware of the scam and filed complaint with FTC and the Ohio AG office.
They called me claiming I accepted an online payday loan and that they were a law firm and if I failed to pay the sheriff was going to come and "drag me to the court house"
I received call from this person too, he call to my cell and my job hes name J. Johnson with indian accent call me and said i have legal problems, hes crasy, i dont know how to stop he'm call to my office and cell.
