just called saying my wife had a family member that died an they was the police they was trying to contact her about the situation an they need her to identify some information an i called the # back said i was calling about the ordeal an they hung up i am calling my local police office an making a report now!!!!
This caller said he was calling from the District Code Attorney's office in Florida. He said that I was being sued and arrested, drug to jail because of delinquent credit, etc. He had SO MANY details that I listened through even though I pretty much knew it was a scam. He was very argumentative when I questioned things. He was using Transunion and Equifax like he was a representative of them. After I said my attorney would contact him and hung up I looked up the number and found all these other reports. I called him back to tell him I was reporting him and he said "F--K YOU" and hung up.
This person call me and identify himself as a lawyer, he say to listen and don't interrupt him, if I have questions I cant ask after he finishing, he say I will be arrested in 24 hrs. for the FBI unless I pay $900.50
because is the creditor matter, he use Transunion and Equifax ,and said allot thing the I don't understand cause it have strong accent ,he say its because I'm Hispanic ,he said he will let me talk to some body how can explained a, put me on hold for some time ,after while it hang the phone ,it keep call back but when I answer it keep saying hello like he cant hear me, so I call the police and the say the its scam ,don't answer and if they coming to my house call the police immediately,
I wander why the police is not doing anything to stop this guy
I was told if I didn't send $200.00 right away a federal warrant would be issued within 24 hrs. My aunt said it was a scam. I didn't believe her until I found this website. Thank you!
I just got a voicemail from this phone#. Said his name was Kevin Foster acting on behalf of an affidavit he recieved from the FTC, TransUnion and Equifax. He said pretty much the same things the other people have said: arrested within 24 hours, offered a settlement but wouldn't force me to pay money. I read all the comments while on the phone with this [***]. Once I mentioned a lawyer, he started stuttering saying if I get one, I could lose the court case and be imprisioned. Also, he said if I get an attorney that I wouldn't get another job! I told him I would call back and called RPD. SCAM!!!!!!
