I just got a call and they told me I was going to get arrested if I didn't pay them. They said they were from some federal government office and if I told anyone I would have 9 more counts added to my case. They had the last 4 of my social. Seriously!!!! I'm going to report this to the police right now!
These people are using burn phones ( cell phones ) that they think cant be traced. They r wrong. If u listen to them carefully u can tell they are from india or in that region. If u want to have fun with them just dial the star button then 67 and then there number and have fun with it. Call them what u want. Worthless people that cant better themselves but yet they try an extort money. Another number they use is 720 324 2619
I received the same call today. The nerve of the person to tell me to have a blessed day. I called and grilled him about the District Code office in Florida and how it has no jurisdiction over anybody. I told him to send the lawsuit paperwork to my home address before I respond. Total scam!
Thank God I found this site and all these messages, what a relief I knew it was a scam but I didn't know how he got my number or name for that matter! I didn't give any info up but what I would like to know is how to report this [***] or [***]! I feel for those who fall for crap. What can we do to stop them or report them so others are aware!
