just called saying my wife had a family member that died an they was the police they was trying to contact her about the situation an they need her to identify some information an i called the # back said i was calling about the ordeal an they hung up i am calling my local police office an making a report now!!!!
someone from this number has called three times leaving messages in my asnwering machine. He said I was going to be arrested from my address and had my ssn on file. I needed to call them back. I know this is scam. I placed a block on that number. But most importantly where or who do I report this kind of harassing calls? Anyone?
I received a call from this number this morning saying that my step-brother was going to be arrested, but it didn't say what for. He said that my brother's name and SSN were under investigation for a lawsuit and that he would be arrested at his MAILING address for up to 90 days. He sounded extremely foreign, with an attempted English name. I was EXTREMELY suspicious, so I immediately Googled the number after I listened to the voicemail and found this website. After reading that we were not the only ones receiving this call, I called the guy back and, very sweetly, told him that I had received a call from this number threatening that my brother was going to be arrested. He asked what MY name was, and I proceeded to tell him that my name was NOT of any importance to him, and to NEVER f**king call my number again. He just yelled "F**K YOU" and I hung up on him. I have been receiving several scam-ish calls the past few days. I have no idea how to make them stop, but I certainly am not going to put up with that kind of BS.
I received a call from this number and he left me a voice message stating that I was going to be arrested within the next 90 days and to call him back at this number. When I returned his call he stated that he had my name and social security number and that if I didn't pay $1087 to him today that he was going to send out 3 local arresting officers and 2 attorneys to arrest me and give me documentation of my arrest. He stated that I would be put in jail for 90 days without the possibility of bail and all of my bank accounts, license, and any other important accounts would be seized so that I could not flee or run. I quickly hung up on him once I found this site and realized that this was a scam. He keeps calling me back using local numbers to tell me that if I don't pay he is going to have me arrested on the spot. I reported the call to my local police office and put my number on the do not call list. He has called from several numbers.
I received a voicemail from "Attorney Kevin Foster" from Florida...(Very heavy foreign accent). He told me to listen and don't interrupt him, if I have questions I cant ask after he was finished, he said I would be arrested in 24 hrs. by the FBI as I had committed Bank Fraud!
He began to read something which sounded "legal"...when I asked him to tell me who was suing me and when did this happen...he told me to be quiet and listen...after I asked him again...he hung up on me...I called the number back and the same man picked up as Kevin Williams...I asked him for Kevin Foster. After a few seconds he said this is Kevin Foster...I asked what law firm he worked for and he told me to be quiet.
At that moment I told him if he calls me again I will report him to the Police and the FBI....Hav enot heard anything in 5 days...

This same guy called today and left a message on our answering machine. He was looking for my husband. I hope he calls back when we are at home so I can tell him to **CK OFF and I will report him to the police! I feel sorry for some people because they would fall for this **it and be out a lot of money!
