man with foreign middle eastern accent & lots of background noise like a call center called at 6:40am AZ time, asked for some woman and said it's about the bladder surgery "I" had, and i said they had the wrong number, the person strongly disagreed with me and said, "BUT MA'AM, you HAD A BLADDER SURGERY"
and i said no,you've got to be kidding me and it's WAY TOO EARLY TO BE phoning ANYONE.
he disagreed with me again and said, "NO, you had a surgery in your [***]"
i told him the call was connected to the internet and tracing started now, to that he replied, "but you dont even know my name, you dont even know my name do you?....long pause and then he said his name was ?some american name? and hung up on me.
Same exact thing happened with me, but it was a woman. They hung up when I said I was a man. Called me again later that day and said hello and nothing but background noise on their end so i hung up. Called me back again and just hung up. this morning got a phone call saying hello, i responded hello then they hung up. I called right back and man answers and says hello then as i start talking he hangs up. i call back again im put on hold then he answers and asks what the problem is and as i start responding he puts me on hold again. then comes back and says hello then hangs up. i call back and a woman answers and i say i would like to speak with your supervisor, she states she is the supervisor, i tell her what happened and she says i am very sorry have a good day
I receive a daily call from this number. Reverse lookup indicates from Miami, but there is always lots of static and always a man with middle-eastern accent. And they always want to talk about something they can do for me, but I can't understand what it's about. I hang up right away now, but am going to find out how to block the number.
Called my home phone while I was out today. Have no idea who it is. I don't answer phone calls with numbers that I don't know. Probably telemarketing scanners.
I too just received a call from this number... When I answered the call they kept asking to speak with me as if they couldn't hear me. So, I continued saying hello and they just hung up, and yes it too was someone with an East Indian accent.
