I just received a call from someone calling themselves "Real Estate Hardship Service", but was unable to get my question's answered about who they we're working with, or what would be the homeowner's obligation be to them. And I was given an abrupt dial tone when I asked did they have a website for verification.
Just got a call from them on my cell. I pressed 1 to ask who is calling so I can get their information and report them. I had to ask him to identify himself. The company name is Real Estate Hardship Services and was told they are based out of California. I just Googled the name and there are a ton of them with different area codes. I'm going to report them. I am also on the DNC list.
got a call from these fools at 11:29 AM EDT on my cell phone, which is registered on the "do not call list". i have been getting similar calls every week or so for a couple months, but previously the number was visible only as "UNKNOWN", but for some reason today was listed as "801-846-6565". in any event, the recorded message is always the same, telling me to press 1 if i am having problems paying my mortgage, and i always press 1 to talk to an agent, who invariably slurs-unrecognizably the name of the company and when i ask them to repeat the name, they immediately hang up. however, they must have not fully-trained the guy i talked to today, because i finally got an understandable answer from him after 4 requests, and the company is "real estate hardship services". as soon as i told him i am on the do not call list he hung up. i reported a complaint from https://www.donotcall.gov/.
[***] them. i hope the next time the owner of this company looks up to admire the nice weather, a bird [***] in his mouth.
I got this twice in the last week on my cell phone also. I won't call them back because it most likely is some kind of scam to get my personal info. Thanks for the info all.
