I got a call from this number that I owe them $420 year 2011 of October, I just got here in the United States Dec 2011. What so scary is that they have all your informations including your address. They said that a sheriff will serve you paperworks either your home or at work. So this is a scam? Pls help
this same number 801 889 1957 is calling my employment but when i call the number back they have me on a 15min. hold.. now they have my employer thinking im going to be served and arrested..is anyway i can go after these people because working court system you cant have any illegal inquiries...
I was relieved to see these posts because I've NEVER disobeyed the law non the less fraud....when they said that, I had a feeling it was a scam. I haven't called back but might consider some of the funny suggestions such as screaming in their ear lol
Got the call yesterday using my name from my first marriage. Saying I was going to be arrested if I didn't call. Called and the first time whoever answered. Second call someone picked up said their name and put me on hold never came back. My thing is I used lendingtree.com yesterday looking for a consolidation loan. One of the questions was previous names. So has lendingtree.com been hacked? I haven't used my previous name in 16 years. Yesterday was the first time I've disclosed a previous name in a long time.
