I had them call me today. They were quite polite... When you don't speak English to them. I ALWAYS answer the phone from a number I don't know in Spanish. Hell, my Spanish sucks too, any High School first year Spanish class student is better than me; But that's besides the point here. I always answer the phone with a 'Hola' and say nothing more. Let them do the talking. All you need to know is two more words, 'No' and 'Si'. They figure it out real quick that you don't speak their language(those racist b@stards!) and quickly hang up.
Freakinay, people. They are NOT telemarketers. They are a 3rd party market research firm based in Bloomington, Indiana. The people working make around $8 an hour. They are a call center that calls lists that companies give them -- companies YOU gave your phone number to at some point. Maybe Best Buy, maybe a grocery store, maybe you signed up for a credit card.
You can't get them in trouble because they aren't doing anything illegal. It's a call center / market research firm based in Indiana. They do 3rd party unbiased research for all sorts of companies.
You either HAVE 5 minutes or you DON'T. If you start the survey and don't finish, you'll get called back.
Stop calling 812-863-2401. I dont care, and do not wish to respond. I will NEVER answer a call I dont know based on my caller ID, and will NEVER answer a call that is not identified. I do not care what you want, and why would you ever call someone at 8:00pm? LEAVE ME ALONE, DO NOT CALL AGAIN!
Who are these peolple? When i returned the call, that was placed on Sunday evening at 8:30, it said it was Stone Research Co. However, their "business" hours are MOnday thru Friday, so who is calling me on a Sunday evening?
