It is not a scam. I am actually a salon that allows pak promo clients to come to me. Before you purchase anything read your contract. It is simple. It is a membership. You pay for 5 months to receive the 50% off salon services. That is a BIG SAVINGS. You also get three free services. Not appointments but services. I think maybe it is not explained clearly by the sales staff. If they misrepresent it contact the pac promo offices
[email protected] . Do everything in writing not on the phone then YOU have written proof you contacted them. You guys are in college you need to understand contract laws. You sign a contract for 5 months. It states it clearly in your paperwork. ON the 4th month send a written notice canceling it. You are giving them the required 30 days notice to stop billing you. If you fail to send in the written notice you willl still be considered a member and can receive the 50% off regular salon prices.
How the services work:
Pak 1 Haircut services
Pak 2 4 to 8 foils of highlights ONLY. A color consultation is just that a consultation. If you want additional color or highlights you will have to pay for those services. BUT you will get 50% off regular salon prices.
Pak 3 Spa deep conditioning treatment.
Salons will charge additional charges for longer hair in some cases. The reason for this it takes more time with longer hair and uses more products. Also salons may require you to do a 50% off service with each appointment.
You may not be able to book with the salon right away so be prepared to call at least one week in advance.
Also like my salon I require a 24 hour cancellation/reschedule Tues to Friday and a 48 hour notice on Saturday. The reason is time is money and the stylist cannot offer the appointment to someone else and they suffer a loss of money. This is how they make a living. You would not your place of employment to send you home after you arrive ready to work without pay. I do not accept a memebership once a client does this.
