Don't pay. They tried to collect on me for a year after refusing to cancel my subscription. Finally my credit card expired and they kept calling to collect on less that $150 I owed. After a year the calls have stopped, haven't heard from them in ten months, and there is absolutely no mark from them on my credit report. Ignore them - there are so many fraud claims against them they know they have little to stand on. Don't pay!
BIG SCAM! Yea I know technically there is nothing that's really a scam since we gave in willingly. But this place is complete crap. Iv'e post marked a check to be taken out, the guy said that i could cancel i had two weeks i email that company 2 days later, to cancel my membership. Turns out they already pulled the money! I "contacted" through e-mail and they took so freaking long to respond. They told me that they were going to send me to collections and that i was going to get a mark on the Credit report. I've worked in collections. They cant do crap. Unless they have your social and everything else.I'm talking your address, etc etc. If your in collection you will know. And usually they will settle out (for less). No company is going to take something for less than 100 bucks. This place is crap! cancel your credit card, report it as stolen! they cant do crap! ignore these people! No credit Bure is going to put a mark on your credit for less than a 100 bucks relax and breathe.
Don't Worry I've worked in collection and let me tell you this, they cant do crap. They don't have a collections agency and if they did that must be their plan, pay the last payment send them an email print it and keep it. IF they try anything you have hard core proof that you payed the last cancellation payment and they cant do crap. Don't worry.
THIS IS A SCAM. I feel so stupid falling for it! But I went into my bank today to cancel my current credit card that Pac Promos had on file. It's even more of a scam because they hire ACTORS as their representivites! I went online to research the guy that sold it to me at school, and sure enough he is in the entertainment industry and is an actor. My advice- Do RESEARCH before you sign up for any type of membership. At least we all learned our lesson (the hard way). I can't wait for these [***] to call me so I can give them a piece of my mind.
This is a straight up scam!!! They are still taking money off my card after the $100!!! I had to cancel my card, which was an inconvience. I report them to my college's police department.
