Caller ID says "Test". I did not answer the call, and they did not leave a message. They never do. I blocked the number but they are just going to call from another number in a day or so. Geez we will never get rid of these creeps.
The caller ID said 'Test'. I didn't respond. No message was left. This continued for some time. I decided to google the number. After reading the posts of other people, I was glad with what I found. I am now reporting this number as one of the 'unwanted calls'.
I just got a robocall from a credit card telemarketer with this number. The name on my ID was "TEST". It's obvious that they recorded the automated message from the original scamming services. I got a call with that same scratchy message with a Michigan number the other day. It was the same live operator.
It doesn't do any good to tell those S.O.Bs to put you on their "Do Not Call" list that you are on the National Do Not Call Registry. And apparently it isn't doing much good reporting these nuisance robocalls to the FTC, the Attorney General or the FCC because those scammers hijack numbers that is no longer in service using software on computers. And that is why it is so hard to stop these nuisance calls whether you answer or not.
Because these scammers can't be stopped, I bought an air horn and blast it into the phone, like I did today. I heard that idiot say really loud "WHOA!" and then he hung up.
