FTP - No idea who they are or what they do....but they are not calling for any legit reason, its a cold call.
An EXTREMELY rude and whiny (it was almost comical) lady called today and asked for John. We have (withing the C-Level alone) 6 Johns. I asked which John she needed.
"Well, the owner of the company."
Red Flag #1 - She doesn't know who she is calling. I answer the phone for a holding company, so there are at least 8 different "owners".
I told her I answer the phone for several companies, and asked her which one was she referring to?
Red Flag #2 - She SLAUGHTERED the name of the company (it's phonetic, and not hard at all), which usually means she has no legit business.
just got a call from this number 5:07 EST asked for the owner or co-owner, even tho I could have helped them I said no one was avail. I said can I take a message? she said she'd just call back.
its so funny how they do have a facebook page and all the five star ratings on there are listed as users who work there, all the other one star, saying its a terrible company are prob actual either almost or ex clients.

Caller ID says Minnesota. Jerk claims he is touting Magazines for our trade. He sounded fishy. Claims he can't take us off his calling list unless he speaks with the owner. Supposedly, he is calling about our magazine subscription. Really?, a FREE magazine? TAKE ME OFF YOUR F-N LIST! doesn't work. Sooooo I'm betting he is really that Crescent credit card company looking to scam us. I'll just keep wasting his time when he calls back. Again and Again and Again and Again.
