FTP - No idea who they are or what they do....but they are not calling for any legit reason, its a cold call.
An EXTREMELY rude and whiny (it was almost comical) lady called today and asked for John. We have (withing the C-Level alone) 6 Johns. I asked which John she needed.
"Well, the owner of the company."
Red Flag #1 - She doesn't know who she is calling. I answer the phone for a holding company, so there are at least 8 different "owners".
I told her I answer the phone for several companies, and asked her which one was she referring to?
Red Flag #2 - She SLAUGHTERED the name of the company (it's phonetic, and not hard at all), which usually means she has no legit business.

I think im call all their numbers all day long and just hang up on them like they do everybody else.
Also going to send them lots of emails.

Get one of those little hand held air horns...or a whistle and whenever they call, blow the airhorn or whistle into the receiving end. See how much they like THAT. LOL This number just called my work phone too. Glad I didnt pick up now that Im reading all these comments. I never pick up numbers whos area code I dont recognize and living in the area for over 15 years I know what area codes are close by. If its a legit business # and my boss asks why I didnt pick up, I just tell him I was in the restroom. ...lol.
