Received a call at 6:47 am from WILLIAMSTNKY. A person with a very thick accent was very insistent that she/he was calling from Microsoft regarding a problem with my computer etc. I told them I didn't believe them and hung up. It was a very poor connection for someone claiming to be in a technical problem solving setting!!!
Got call from this number and ignored it. I was going to clear it off my phone and accidentally dial it. Before I could hang up a recorder came on saying the number is not a working number. Some scammers have a way they can make any number they want read on your caller ID. Even your own personal number. These people are some sorry MF's that prey on those who don't know better. As a rule I never answer any number I don't recognize. If they have something important they can leave a message. Most scammers don't leave messages.
Got a call at 5:30 AM that woke us up. I fumbled with the phone and a guy with a heavy Indian accent said he was calling from windows support or something. I knew it was a scam, especially since I have a mac, but I was really ticked he woke us up on a day we could sleep in. Hung up on him and haven't had a call since. The ID said Williams TN/KY.
