YES... I.e.: if you are on the national DNC registry, and an automated telemarketer keeps calling you, the best thing to do is have the state att'y general mail them a letter, and eventually this will actually scare them enough to stop calling.
I never answer numbers I don't know. However, I decided to look this one up just in case...I just bought a new car two months ago, so I could see how my name would be in a database. How do we report this number to the people who can make them go away?

this car warranty scam has called me more than 7 times
i politely asked them to remove me from their list, as
I don't even own a car
i agree, the attorney general should take action to prevent
this telemarketing from continuing unabated
Same as all the others, I've been getting these types of call from all kinds of numbers and have just now started to see who might be behind all of the calls.
