YES... I.e.: if you are on the national DNC registry, and an automated telemarketer keeps calling you, the best thing to do is have the state att'y general mail them a letter, and eventually this will actually scare them enough to stop calling.
ask them for their phsyical address over and over again... they hate that. Seriously if you do answer and push a button ask for their address until they get mad.
I recieved a call from 1-860-216-2292 on July 15, 2008 @11:23Am. I heard the recording but I dont get service in my office so I the call got disconnected. I'm curious what scam they are trying to pull? Propably want you to give them your SS#, address, etc to say they're using it to figure out a new rate for your car?!! I dont own a car (never have) so I dont know..
Hopefully they dont call back. but now I know not to answer. Thanks
I got a call from this number this morning. 860-216-2292 when I did a reverse look up I got the following:
Orie Jenkins
CAPEN ST
HARTFORD, CT 06120
860-216-2292
I get a recording from Verizon Wireless that my call cannot be completed. These people need to get a life. I'm putting them on the blocked calling list on my phone.
Auto warranty scam...on July 15, 1159 AM second or third time called from that number...maybe the guy is in bed with Verizon to run up peak phone usage to put more coin in their pockets...
