Exactly. I, too recently got a call first from 860-207-8304. I didn't block it afterward, but neither did I answer it. What I did do was make a note of it. And then came a second call anyway, this time from, supposedly, 860-264-5055, also ostensibly from "United Breast C." These clearly are not legitimate calls.
They have many many numbers. Do not give to organization that cold calls you like that - they are a rip off - let alone only giving very little $$ to the cause they are collecting for. Find a local charity to give to if you have too much money. By giving local you can see your donation in action.
Thurs 8:40 AM. I can't tell if it was a recording or a real person. Started by saying my first name then said "You are harder to get a hold of then getting her children to clean their room". Then started talking about mailing me something and breast cancer. I said is this a recording? And she kept talking, finally paused and said "I'm sorry, what did you say". The delay made me think it was a recording. I hung up and blocked.
These scammers who call with fiticious names for personal gain calling themselves a charity should spend some time in a very desolate place
to see just what they are doing to inspecting answers of their call; better an itch they cannot reach to keep them busy;
