received call at 8:26 this morning. . Started off by saying my first name and then "you're harder to get a hold of than getting my kids to clean their room. Then "Marie" goes into her spiel about breast cancer. Received calls in the past using tele. # 860-207-8304 . I keep telling them to stop calling but that does no good.
This number called my home number six times in one day. It's been going on for almost two weeks, now. I don't answer because a year ago, when I did, the woman went through her spiel about helping women with cancer, "even a small amount," etc. At first, I told her I'd have to research this "charity," before agreeing to donate. She kept repeating, "just a small amount would help," so I asked if she was associated with the Susan Komen Foundation. She laughed like a hyena and hung up with a bang. Can't stand the heat, I guess.
After an early call this morning, called three times today. Didn't answer any of them. Looked up United Breast Cancer in Tampa Times list of America's worst charities. These crooks kept 93.7% of every dollar taken in. I can't find the words to explain how repulsive they are.
