You can report credit reporters who are being rude and stuff....and you (or the person they're looking for) may be able to sue them.
I successfully sued a collections guy who was rude, broke many laws, including speaking to my 16 year old daughter at the time, not to mention other individuals, who also continued to call me at work when I asked him not to (I tape recorded his voice mails). Anyway I sued the company and was awarded $37,000 plus the debt written off.
Look in your phone book under Attorneys protecting consumers from collection harassment and abusive debt collection.
Lady named Crystal from the "Office of CRA" and referencing a certain number. Said she didn't know if I was aware of the situation but she needed me or my representative to call her back immediately. Gave call-back # 877-704-9452. Called on my cell. When I googled "Office of CRA" I found a bunch of messages with a similar phone number, except for the last digit. Everyone says they got the same kind of message. Some say the person was threatening & had their SSN. I figured it was a bill-collector & I should call them, but now I wonder if it's not a scam.
we received at call from 864-569-0719 also. The name of the company is CRA. I called it back to see what type of company they were. I got a very rude man on the phone that said they are not a publishing company and the reason they were calling is because we were being "pursued". He started asking me questions and I told him I would not give him my information until they gave me their information and again he said "we are a non publishing company" my reply was, "then I am a non publishing individual" and I hung up. From what I read about this company is that they buy up old debts and try to collect.
I received the same call just now and they were looking for someone named 'Holly'. Person calling left a phone number of 877-704-9452.I returned the call and experienced the same rudeness. When I asked what the business of CRA was he said why do you want to get into Holly's business? I told him I am not interested in her business, I want to know what your business is. He told me he was not going to tell me anything and he had booted/dumped my number and they would not call again. He said we are an offices and would not tell me what their office did? He started to pick an argument with me. Where can you report these individuals? I could not find out about these people when I searched. I instructed him to remove my number immediately he agreed and hung up.

I received a call from 864-569-0719 on my cell phone. The number was from Greenville SC and the lady was super rude when she left the message. I am pretty sure the company was a debt collectors agency that buys debts and try to collect. Don't fall for there tricks because they can get you. I say you contact your debts directly and they will tell you how much you owe and how to pay it off.
CRA called me yesterday on my cell, then again on my home phone number this morning, this time asking for my husband... told me that my husbands old cell bill from 10 years ago is being sent to the IRS for collection... LOL!!! really? said he owed $900 or something absurd like that... i asked since when did the IRS collect on old debts that are do not belong to them? He called me an idiot and told me not to make statements that i didnt know anything about... its a good thing i have a sense of humor about these things, becuase if i didnt i would have gotten angry! He hung up on me while i was laughing at him... i say we all call them 5 times a day telling them we want to pay our bill, then call them an idiot and hang up on them! hahahahahahaaaaaa!!!
