Lady named Crystal from the "Office of CRA" and referencing a certain number. Said she didn't know if I was aware of the situation but she needed me or my representative to call her back immediately. Gave call-back # 877-704-9452. Called on my cell. When I googled "Office of CRA" I found a bunch of messages with a similar phone number, except for the last digit. Everyone says they got the same kind of message. Some say the person was threatening & had their SSN. I figured it was a bill-collector & I should call them, but now I wonder if it's not a scam.
They called me today. The guy was rude, asking for someone I didn't even know and I'm waiting for him to call me back. I think I'll have a little fun with Mr. "D. Johnson".

Greenville, SC, CRA and some stupid lady called me stating if I didn't pay the old debt of 10 years ago I would get a 1099C form for the IRS, I got furious n told her to do as she please cuz I had never heard a loan company to threaten the way she did. Stupid b***h!!!
I just got a call from that number and it was listed as Greenville, SC. Answering machine picked up and no message was left. We have had this number for nearly 8 years and we still get collection calls for other people. I assume that is what happened here. These people really should identify themselves. I never answer unsolicited calls!
I just received a call from an agency known as CRA saying I owed on a check that was wrote with a cash advancement in 2000. The rep was talking so fast I tried to tell her everything I ever owed was included in a debt consolidation/bankrupt she then told me there was no way it could have been included, asked if I wanted to know my options soon as I went to to say anything she slammed the phone down on my ear. I tried calling 864 5690719 back and apparently got the same lady cause I explained to the woman that answered how rude the woman(yes I did use the "B" word instead of women) was and she too hung up on me saying I was being rude and. I called back spoke with a John Gibson said he was a supervisor and that he had my call recorded about cussing out one of his employees and I asked him if he recorded her hanging up on me upon trying to figure out what the call was even concerning. I asked him for someone higher than him and he said he gave me my only options to resolve the matter and he's the supervisor and I am being rude by trying to over talk him and then threatened to hang up and if I called back he would press harassment charges on me(what the hell). I am going to take this matter as far as I possibly can. I sent for my credit line and this does not show up anywhere on my credit and the so called checking account is currently open so how am I passing bad checks. CRA is very rude and unproffessional and do not deserve to be in business being that they don't listen to what the customer has to say and did not give me a chance to fax over to them my debt consolidation as well as my previous bankruptcy.
