I am the person who claimed to be looking at a toaster not a computer. I just thought I would add that I did request a contact number for them before I passed him off
as you know if you try to return the call on the number they call you on it says disconnected.

Just thought I'd add my name to the same story as above. Sounded from "India" and "Microsoft computer" and "being hacked" I just hung up. Getting used to these calls both here at home, on my cell and at the office. SCAM SCAM SCAM
Indian man said he was from Microsoft n my Gmail account was trying to be hacked I said "my computer is at Hewlett Packard being repaired" he said oh my god mam you don't understand! I hung up. BUT I WANNA KNOW HOW HE KNEWVI HAD A GMAIL ACCOUNT? ??
I have received two of these calls. Didn't answer the first time but did this morning. Said my computer sent an error message and I needed to log on so they could tell me what was wrong. Said he was from Microsoft and had an Indian accent. I told him I wasn't by my computer to turn on and wasn't available at the moment. He asked when he could call back. Glad I Googled the number because he will get a few choice words when he calls. Glad I didn't fall for this scam either...
I got a call from this number today and he told me my computer was hacked. I asked him how could my computer be hacked when I don't own a computer. (I really do but wanted to see what he would say) he hung up on me. Rat [***] don't have nothing else better to do with their time.... And when I called back the number was no good.
