got a call this number - I had made an online inquiry for health insurance over two months ago and am still getting calls from lame-[***] "insurance" companies. Anyone in telemarketing should realize that an inquiry over two months old has already bough insurance within a week of the inquiry. These companies are pathetic.
Anyway, I answered phone "hello"..........and waited about 30 seconds of dead air and then it hung up. Only reason I answer is to get a live human on the line so I can inform them a) I have insurance and b) to take me off their call list.
Ever since I made the mistake of filling out a form for what appeared to be a legitimate company claiming to represent the following companies, Lifewise, Regence, GroupHealth, Assurant, among others, I have been harassed with multiple phone calls every day since. Alternately hang-ups or automated robo-calls.
If you are receiving calls from any of the following numbers send a bulk E-mail to all of the providers listed on the 'eHealthInsurance' site and inform them that their name is being associated with these creeps. The tactics of this company are indefensible. Another way we could fight back is to go to their site and provide them with their own phone numbers as the call back number.
