Have you ever tried calling back the number? It doesn't list a business whatsoever. The message says: You are leaving a message for Bruce. Are they kidding me? Definitely scary about them knowing are place of business.
Never said I knew all of the things exactly for sure and I don't work for them I'm just saying they're not a scam if you actually talk to a person on that line they can prove to you that there's not a scam I don't work for them I don't know I'm just trying to defend the people that actually are trying to make a living doing a legitimate job and yes it has to be ordered by the court but they do have the right to do that do I have to get jumped on because I have a different opinion than everyone else you are posting else opinion I'm posting mine I know for a fact it's not a scam
>> if you actually talk to a person on that line they can prove to you that there's not a scam <<
Sorry, you are wrong yet again.
A phone call, email or text message from a supposed debt collector is not legally sufficient evidence of debt.
The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) includes statements such as this:
Every collector must send you a written “validation notice” telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you. This notice also must include the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money, and how to proceed if you don’t think you owe the money. ["Written" means snailmailed - US Mail ... not emailed or texted]
Therefore, if that caller wants you to pay immediately, before you get the written validation notice via snailmail, or if the caller wants payment via Green Dot, MoneyGram, Western Union, prepaid gift card or other untraceable means, then the call is definitely not legitimate.
IF you wish to communicate with the supposed collector / creditor, visit the following page, for example "Action Letters" to snailmail:
http://www.consumerfinance.gov/blog/debtcollection/
If you KNOW you owe no money, or believe the call was from a fake debt collector, please take the time to read this:

"I know for a fact it's not a scam" Now how would you know that? "trying to make a living doing a legitimate job" Violating the law is not a legitimate job. "do I have to get jumped on because I have a different opinion than everyone else you are posting else opinion I'm posting mine" Considering the run on sentence, and the fact that you seem to have limited knowledge then yes, when you spread misinformation you will get called out on it. Perhaps you should have paid attention in school during English class. But hey, if you think they are legitimate, provide us some proof. After all I can cite my sources, so you claim you have all this knowledge, please tell us where your received it, show us something that proves what you are saying.
