This is legit. I didn't think it was, but I called and they wanted to verify a large charge on a new credit card I had opened the day before. They only asked for a name and phone # and had all of the information about the charge on their end. They just want to make sure someone didn't fraudulently open an account in your name. Caller ID said "Care Credit," but it looks like that company works for many cc companies.
Received call from this number and was called by my full name letting me know that there was suspicious activity on my JCPenney card. Also, a code was given to refer to when returning their call...I instead call the number on the back of card.
