We have been getting these stupid calls for some time now. Last year they were calling for my brother in law who lives in another state!! Claiming they had a warrant. Then from another number, tried claiming I needed to contact them for a "serious matter". never called. A friend in the PD told us to not even speak to these scum as they are trying to get our info for identity theft! And now today, I get a third call for my husband with an identical claim that he needs to have his legal representative or himself call this Sarasota Fl number!! 941-251-8163
SCAM!!!!! Calling Sherriffs dept. I am so tired of these idiots!!
Please don't worry, this is a scam. I have been receiving the same type of calls for months. They call themselves Compliant Management for now. They call my cell and my work line daily. They also call my husband and brother saying I have a warrant out for my arrest due to unpaid payday loans. LOL - They call from 224-215-0174 and the message says to call 501-703-0180. I called both numbers yesterday morning, they argued with me, swore at me and yelled in my ear. One girl gave me their PO Box when I said I would be sending money, it's P.O. Box 2658, Phoenix, AZ 85032. When I told them I have an attorney, they won't take her info, they just say they'll see me in court and hang up. I was terribly shaken so my attorney had her Private Investigator research this yesterday afternoon. As of this morning, all numbers have been disconnected when I try to call them, yet I just rec'd another call from the same 224 number. The voicemail now has a new number for me to call, 941-251-8163, and it has also been disconnected. :) I'm adding all numbers to this site with this same exact message to make others aware.
I've been getting similar calls. At first the call-back number was different, but the EXACT voicemail message otherwise. The other numbers have been deactivated, but I just tried calling back. Asked who they were and she said it so fast I had to ask her to repeat herself twice. I explained that since I wasn't the person they were calling for and that the phone number for this matter had changed several times (the same as "Not Amused" listed above, which is no longer in service), and that I and EVERYONE ELSE IN MY FAMILY WHO WERE GETTING THESE CALLS were of the opinion that it was a scam attempting to extort money from us. At this point, she got snippy with me and let me know that they'd "do what they needed to do" to show that it wasn't a scam. I was left to wonder what exactly that meant (quaking in my boots, I guess). She said she'd remove my number from the list for this matter, but since that happened to "Not Amused" and the calls seem to continue, I don't know what will happen...at any rate, if you get calls from this company, either ignore them or give them some of their own medicine.
I know it makes you nervous because you are not sure what to do ! This should not be legal and it is set up that the number now comes up unknown and you cant even block it! Anyone know what we can do to make it stop ?
