Received voice message from 951-386-9708 this AM, a robotic voice said the IRS was filing a law suit against me. This is an illegal scam, period. A complaint was made to the Federal Trade Commission and my local police.

I got the same call this morning. I called back and talked with 'officer' Eddy Johnson. I got the same "The IRS filed a lawsuit and would I like to take care of it" Definitely not the way the IRS would handle anything.
I called the number back. A male answered in a heavy Spanish accent, "Hello Marco of the IRS". I would have let him talk but I started laughing and couldn't talk. He hung up on me.
I work for IRS and you will never receive a call from an automated voice, and we do not answer the phone saying Hello blank of the IRS. That is beyond the ridiculous.
I got a call from 951 386 9708. They said they were the IRS and a warrant was issued for my arrest. And that I owed back fraud related taxes. The representative, Danny Carter I'd #IRM 054327, told me this, then transferred me to his supervisor, Alicia Miller, ID#IRM1007 And said I had to go to the Walgreens store and get an Apple I Tunes cRd and pay 200. To send the loaded card to them. She gave me address of IRS 1111 Constitution avv. Wa DC 20224. Then passed me to a guy Neil Jackman I'D #20251 SAID he was an attorney and keep all this confidential, that a warrant would be issued for my arrest within 24 hours and a revenue officer will come to my address and arrest me.
